Totally into this, and loving the Ell Potter narration!

DNFing at 38%, just not in the mood but it’s interesting, will try again later, might be an October vibes kinda read.

This isn’t really giving what I expected, not feeling the connection between the MCs… do I need to stick with it?

Read this a couple years ago and liked it but didn’t continue the series (can’t remember why). A friend is starting it so I’m rereading.

DNF @ 40% 🙈 I can understand the Practical Magic comparison, but not sure where they get Gilmore Girls. It wasn’t bad, I just wasn’t feeling it. 🤷🏼‍♀️

If anybody has a cozy mystery series they love, let me know! I’ve tried a bunch recently and none are grabbing me. If I do like something it’s usually darker or spicier than what’s considered cozy, so maybe the genre just isn’t for me? 🤷🏼‍♀️

DNFing at 5% because I’m so confused… pirate houses?? Don’t even know how to picture this world in my head. Will try again in the future because I like the characters so far and the story sounds cute 🤷🏼‍♀️

Decided to read Tessa Dare’s entire backlist… just because. 🤷🏼‍♀️ This was her first book, and if you like historical romances, this one is fun so far!

Put this one down for now... it just felt so statistical and about the numbers, which is good info, and I’ll finish it at some point. I was also hearing that we should be learning from Black authors right now more than white, so I moved on to So You Want to Talk About Race, by Ijeoma Oluo, and feel like I learned a lot more by hearing her personal experiences.
