The fictional equivalent of soaking in a warm bath surrounded by candles and munching on a bar of really good quality chocolate.

Honestly, I’m struggling with this. I really want to like this book because of its setting (which is genuinely very cool) because we definitely need diverse fantasy, but I just don’t think it’s that well-written. I have to return it to the library for now and we’ll see if I pick it up again later.

Finished My Year of Rest and Relaxation but going to need to ponder it a little more before giving any kind of review!
