Although I enjoyed other books in this series, I did not like this one. The idea that a young lady would have romantic thoughts of her guardian is rather strange to me.

Little House books - always a good read

I am loving this book! With a theme of how a widow deals with her grief, I was not expecting to find this so enjoyable, but the character development is so well done, Mibby seems real, and the figurative language is something to savor, making me want to read that line again and just let it soak in. Oh, and some humor just when you don't expect it.

Enjoying this book!

I found this book too depressing to finish.
