So the police call and say they've arrested the stalker and no one asks who it is? This is a fun book but there are some serious plot holes.

So now that she has a stalker, he's become her protector. But even though she has notes and even a photo from the stalker, the police say they can't do anything. Have they never heard of fingerprinting? It's stuff like this that will keep this from being a 4 or 5 star read.

This author knows how to tell a fun story. Too bad she wrote this with alternating first person narrative. I hate that. Almost made me quit in chapter 3 because that can be a deal breaker. I almost quit again because the characters were acting so childish. There little "war" could have been resolved if he had apologized and explained why he was initially so rude.

This has been on my to-read list forever. Why did I wait so long? The dialog is hysterical. Loving this.

I was enjoying this until I got to the building fire. Then it got patently ridiculous. What they're doing just... nope. Not possible in a building engulfed in flames.

Too many characters. I keep asking myself "now which one is she?" Probably won't continue the series for that reason.

I detest alternating third person. Too often, the pov characters don't have distinctive voices and I forget whose head I'm in. These characters are distinctive so far, so that might save it. We'll see.

The writing's good, the characters are believable. It's just.... I feel like I've read this story a dozen times before.

I wasn't too sure about this when I read the opening scene, and even less sure when the author referred to Seattle folks as "laid back." (I lived there too long to buy that.) But as soon as the hero showed up, the scene on the plane got interesting and the author handled it beautifully. I think this is going to be a fun ride.

I've read Nick Spalding before and like him, but this... Not so much. The "hero" is too skeevy for me to like. All he's interested in is getting laid and it doesn't matter who the woman is.

This really dragging IMO. Maybe it's not for me.

This has such an interesting blurb and lots of good reviews. I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Emotionally, this book is spot on, but some things in the plot that are so unrealistic... like anybody caring about a star's ex-wives and children who have dropped out of the spotlight. Heck, people barely care about actors who've disappeared. Totally beyond the pale. And from everything I understand, screenwriters are persona non gratis on movie sets. And the era of the script is not consistent with cow tipping.

I've been so hard to please lately, that I thoroughly expected this would quickly become a dnf. (It's the cover. It makes it look like it won't be good.) Imagine how pleasantly surprised I am to find myself enjoying this.

This is not looking good. When the author writes: "This primeval, irrational, and unstated need makes him aware of his dissatisfaction. He articulates that..." All those excess, fifty cent words feel like they're written to puff up the author's ego. They're certainly not there to enhance the reader's grasp of the concepts being discussed.

This does not bode well that half way through the prologue, I got bored. Skipping ahead to chapter one.

I'm done. No more.

I've like every Jane Grave's book I've read, but frankly, I'm not feeling the chemistry with this couple. She's kind of a spoiled rich girl.
