Washington, not a feminist.

The first couple chapters were a bit of a slog but Silence was particularly riveting. Somehow the same inane arguments about POC still circulate our nation today, and moreover the collective inability to comprehend a deadline of 1808 is still pervasive in the South. It’s a stark reminder that in the USA if it’s not happening to those in power it doesn’t matter.

Giving myself permission to skip over the parts that aren’t interesting. I’ve already read this book over 20 years ago, just hoovering up any messages I might have missed the first time.

Revisiting as an audiobook.

Re-listening to Catch-22. It’s too good! BOTY for me most likely.
