Still haven’t arrived at the camp btw

And this is about where it loses me

So at the beginning of the book there is a quote from the movie “Funny Games”. This book is without a doubt inspired by that movie.

Not included in the trigger warnings: the dog dies

That’s not even a complete sentence .

Seriously- did this author finish even high school English?

First page and already not a fan of the authors writing. The writing glows poorly and is rather repetitive from sentence to sentence.

Pretty boring so far.

Guess I’ve fallen down the thriller and suspense genre hole.

Oh. My. God.

Honestly- Veronica has been toxic since she was first introduced and it’s making it hard to enjoy her relationship with Mick.

I think my goal for this year will be one book a week. That seems pretty reasonable since I have a lot planned this year. I think I would also like approximately 75% of those books to be queer related.

37% through and I’m just so bored?

January was a great reading month for me. I completed 35 books in total which included one short story, one book written in a poetic style, multiple queer books, one classic book and several books from goosebumps series. I also completed a series.

I’m very excited to see what the month of February holds. I’m starting off the month with reading the highly acclaimed fan fiction “Manacled.”

I am so excited to have even found this book. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of books about trans people and it’s refreshing to know the author is also trans. This will be my first book about a trans boy and I am already loving it so much.

Oh man… a little into part 2 of the book and I’m not sure now I’m feeling about this. Intense and stressful. And Ravi, babe- what are you doing?

No page numbers and already found an editing issue. Didn’t realize this was an independently published book when I picked up up, but people were talking about it on TikTok so I thought I would give it a try. Fingers crossed.
