Ohhhh- this is all so poetic. And I don't think I like it....

This guy on the cover is certainly not Oz! Where is the messy hair, the gin-bottle eyes? Don´t authors have a say of the model starring on their cover? I´m sure Lily Morton had the image of Oz perfectly in her mind...

Oh, thank you! This book is already so funny and good after the first few pages. Just what I need after my last disastrous read!

The sex scenes- even if they are only one sided at this point of the book- are so, so exaggerated...eyeroll 🙄
What I do mind the most is the progress in the timespan in this book: first it was 2 months, then from one chapter to the next it was 18 months, and now it's 2 years. Without any kind of interaction considering the sizzle and attraction between Jed and Booker. Highly not realistic 🤔

What? 16% onto the story, they have just met and had a 'scene' in the club, and Mal thinks about a ring?!?! WTF?

So, this jumps right into awkward. I can't stop rolling my eyes....

Okay, so this seems to be a very honourable pirate Captain 😁

I'm listening to this book on audio, but I'm struggling so hard to keep going.... . Perhaps I will continue with reading, this makes the progress faster. In parts this story is simply ridiculous (as many other reviewers did already mention ☹).

Ohhhh, this book is even more sweet than the first one! And so funny, and cute, and funny....

I'm desperate, I'm dreaming at night of Kris and David, Dawood. And again I'm struggling between needing to stop reading because I can't take it anymore, and the need to know how their story continues.

Oh my god- I knew this was coming..., but now I'm crying so hard. I need to continue reading, I need to stop...
