A serendipitous, or rather an unfortunate discovery. From "The Dead", the actual Mount Melleray Abbey closes on 26 Jan 25 after 192 years!

Just completed the first book of the trilogy. So far it is a 5 star read. An absorbing and emotive book.

"A period of disintegration" was pretty sad. Crushed by the wheels of industry.

Liked "An invisible web". Profound and philosophical. Must ruminate a bit more. Also liked "The call". Comical yet empathic.
