Either I‘m getting better at DNF‘ing books I don‘t like, or I‘m getting old, because the last few books were. not. for. me. Am I being picky in my old age? Maybe so, but I do not have the patience to struggle through books anymore…

After a couple of ho-hum books, I'm really enjoying this... despite, or maybe because of, the weighty subject matters. I like both Mina and Levi. Why haven't I read this author before? I see a glom coming

This book is absolutely delightful; I've been listening to the audiobook, but I'm already rereading the Kindle version

I've reached the halfway point of Gone Girl (audiobook) and all I can say is Holy Cow!! Now it's getting interesting ...

I'm thinking of DNFing the audiobook of "At Last" by Jill Shalvis. I like the story, but the narrator (Erin Bennett) is doing her best to ruin it. Half the time I don't know who's talking, because she's just reading it and not using inflections and the like. I've switched to "How To Seduce A Naked Werewolf" narrated by Amanda Ronconi and what a difference! I'll have to get "At Last" as a e-book. Too bad :-(

I'm really enjoying "Carnal Innocence", even though I'm not really a big NR reader. But Tom Stechschulte's narration is amazing - what a voice (and he knows how to use it too!) An Audible credit well spent (so far).

I started the third book, and I need a break. You can only read the same scene over and over again so many times, before you go nuts. I'll put this away for now, maybe I'll finish it when I go on vacation in June.
