I didn't know just through writing books, you could become the epitome of being a punchable person.

سال انتشار این کتاب که برمی‌گرده به چهل سال پیش، چند تا مسئله به وجود میاره
:
این که چه قدر از حرف‌های نویسنده درباره صنعت تبلیغات هنوز صدق می‌کنه
و این که چه قدر از حرف‌های نویسنده درباره صنعت تبلیغات دیگه صدق نمی‌کنه
،
و هر چه قدر از سرگرم‌کننده بودن صحبت‌هاش بگم کافی نگفتم. محتوا رو در نظر نگیریم، طرز ارایه مطلبش مطمئنا هنوز صدق می‌کنه

تو یکی از پاراگراف ها، لغت "discriminating" به نحوی استفاده شده که معنا و بار مثبت داره:
"With the experience that often we are unsure and thus unable to distinguish between lighter and darker in color, it appears appreciate, even necessary, to develop a more discriminating sensitivity."

نمونه‌ای از گنجینه dad jokeهای استاد:
"ای میخواران سیه شده روز شما
حکم است پلیس بو کند پوز شما
از من شنوید و می دگر حقنه کنید
تا آنکه پلیس بو کند... شما"

This is real. Different from anything I've read.
