Finally able to reread this since the sequel came out this year! I’m going with the audiobook this time. So excited to be back in this world!

Writing is a bit choppy. I’m hoping it either gets better, is like that for a reason, or I get used to it cause I am very excited about this book.

It has been a while since I read Wayward Son and Carry On. So I don't remember the circumstances of the ending of Wayward Son, nor do I remember details from Carry On. All this to say, I'm confused. But I like it. Once again, I do recommend the audio book. Wonderful narrator and it is the same guy for all three books so that's nice.

Right now, this book is five stars. I am so impressed with it and I find it to be so much more than a simple retelling. I also would like to point out the the summary does not really do the book justice. If you are contemplating picking this one up, do it.
