Mandilynn is 3% done with Marvelry's Curiosity Shop
3% into the book and already it's like Are You Afraid of the Dark!
"It's Marvel-RYE, not Marvel-REE. No Doctor. Accent on the RYE."
Ahem, Sardo, anyone? No Mister. Accent on the DOE. ;)

Mandilynn is 32% done with The Beast Within (Villains, #2)
Why has the story changed? Beasts point of view-okay, but why 3 witches (sisters of the Beast's former fiance???) instead of an enchantress looking for shelter from the cold? Why are he and Gaston friends? Wasn't he enchanted when he was around 10-14 years old? How could he have been engaged to be wed? Writing style is a bit like written by a small child.

Great companion book; no spoilers. Includes Rod’s monologue.

Mandilynn is starting The Babysitter
Noting: Not even into the third chapter and the questions of who, what, how, and possibly the why have already been answered. Not sure if it's my super sleuthing skills, or that the author just made it that easy to figure out. Clearly someone has watched one too many Lifetime movies.

Just a personal note of observation:
The writing is beautiful and poetic, except for the times when it isn’t. For example, the 2-3 pages of a detailed enema on a patient, or the sexual descriptions that are already getting old only 53 pages in. Hoping the rest of the book isn’t like this and that the plot develops a bit more.

Mandilynn is on page 33 of 434 of Bring Her Home
33 pages in, and I can already see where this plot is going. Two girls, both blonde. Look like sisters. One dead, one hanging onto life. Neither one identifiable. The only word the living one can mutter when someone says her name is “no”.

A blind person could see where this is going.
