I really like what I've read so far. I like the psychological aspect of it and tackling the question "what happens when the honeymoon phase ends?".

Normally I find it difficult to read books where characters/places have long and complicatedly spelled names, but I'm doing just fine here! I like that Maia is kind to people.

This thing fails to realize that I'm reading the ebook which is like 600-something pages long. Fail, GR, fail.

Welp, I just learned an awesome new word. VITUPERATIVE. Must use in conversation! Also I had to get the ibooks version because I couldn't find a hard copy at any of my local bookstores :(

I'm enjoying it but it drags a lot... and I'm getting sick of the chapters with The Emo Times and Troubles of the royal family. I want to read more about Kaladin and what happens to him. I know it's all necessary for the plot... but god damn I'm getting bored with all the soul searching!

I'm a little disappointed that my excitement to read this book has turned into a persistent feeling of anxiety with everything he does. Mostly because he's being a total dick to the crew and I feel bad for them. I know the whole point of his character is to be that cluelessly dickish and self-absorbed - I just tend to cringe when perfectly nice people are on the receiving end.

I especially love reading the chapters told by Apollo as a mortal and blundering his way through multiple unwritten social rules. Reminds me a lot of my own teen years :/ though I didn't have a Simmea there to explain to me why what I'd said/done had pissed people off.

First of all, I ordered this book from the U.S. via my local bookstore because it's not supposed to be released here in Australia till the middle of March >:( I'm trying very hard to take this book slowly and enjoy it rather than doing what I really want to (devour it fast).

I just cant finish this book. I'm getting too irritated by Regal.

it kind of sucks and I'm having trouble focusing on it :/
