I know a book is good when I keep yelling "GET IT" every time the characters are alone with one another. Also, I can already tell this one is waaaaay too short.

"I'm going out on a limb and assuming your ego can take the hit." I like her already.

But seriously, he's hitting on her while she's working. On behalf of every server who has ever had to deal with that mess (because the dude in question assumes the woman can't be rude or reject him without getting in trouble with a boss), I hope she puts him in his place. And I really hope he puts in the work to redeem himsself.

I made the mistake of starting this book at quarter to five in the morning when I couldn't sleep. An hour later, I was struggling to stay awake because it's *so good* so far.

Intense. I'm pretty sure the herione is about to get herself into (worse) trouble and possibly get this other dude killed. Ah well.
