Triggering but good

I did not expect so much more DETAIL and DEPTH to Eliza’s life after Hamilton‘s death, but I have really loved it, and especially how true-to-history the story is, even and especially when it hurts.

I started this book and it held my attention well, but I didn’t expect the minor allusions to intimacy, which at the age I started reading it, made me feel quite apprehensive to continue as I don’t prefer reading intimate content, even between a married couple. But it hasn’t been anything graphic or descriptive as much as “fade to black”.
