I’ve decided to listen to this so that I can determine if I can allow my students to read it. I hope so — they need a wider variety of role models in their reading.

4 hours left and she has lost 3 husbands and her dad! Seriously? Now I remember why I stopped buying Danielle Steele’s novels as soon as they are released. Way too much tragedy! I don’t recall her earlier books being like this

Wow! Slow start and I wasn’t sure I could endure the length of this audiobook. However I was hasty - it quickly changed to a book I have trouble leaving in the car

Loving the multiple perspectives on a very contentious subject. Loving the characters even more.

16 hours into listening to this 46 hour novel and I still don’t think I can truly define what this book is about. Having said that - I am still intrigued enough to continue with this. I am enjoying the apparently 2 distinct storylines and am beginning to see the connections between the two.

Really enjoying it so far! Ralston is a bit of an idiot- I have to say that!

I am not a prude and don't mind explicit language usually. However so far such language is being used needlessly. For me it is distracting from the story - what is the need for it?
