This book is good even if it doesn’t maintain a sense of atmosphere.

So far so good. Wish there was more vivid imagery instead of so much psychological ornamentation on the various characters. Also not sure there is any wisdom here, but there’s certainly a lot of mystery!

H g Wells was a hack. His writing style sucks.

I found this used after watching a youtube clip last year of Nancy making her prebaked croissants. Although I found that recipe wackily salty, there was something interesting about the flavor that suggested there was more to learn. So far I have made four of the scones and they are uniformly delicious, and teach new techniques, and use unique ingredients.
