i read this story back in 2011 when the author uploaded it online as a twilight fanfict...here i am, reading the book for a second time.

i remember reading this book in 2010, and have recently come across it again. i cant resist a harlequin book packed with angst...must.read.again.

5 stars - I liked this book better than the first one. Cant wait for the third installment.

Yey, there’s going to be a third book in the series. But…
Uh oh. Who is Isabella? And why does she want Gio dead? (Gio owns a place called Isabella, could there be a connection…)
Gio should have killed Kai when he had the chance.
Now he’s got plenty more enemies after him.

What happened to Gio’s father’s (Tomosino) wife? She’s been mentioned a few times throughout the series but where is she?

This has got me thinking...

Giovanni has finally found out about Catalina and Dominics love affair. I have a feeling something bad is going to happen to Dom (death, maybe), don’t want that to happen though. Don’t really like Cat’s lies, she’s sly and conniving. I feel for Dom, I hope Gio isn’t too hard on him. Would like to read more on their relationship.

More romance in this one.
Giovanni seems harder, more ruthless and gangster then the first book.
Behind every successful man, there is a strong woman….I like that Mirabella is much stronger now, and doesn’t overlook Gio’s lifestyle.
Baby Ev is too precious. The father and daughter scenes are adorable to read.

i wasnt not expecting this. cant wait to read the sequel.

its Catalina's wedding day, poor Dominic – would like to read more on them two.

i fear for Fabiana and Lorenzo.

Mira and Giovanni are starting to get serious.

i just hope the book ends well for each couple...

took me a while to get into this book. so far my ratings have been going up and down. ill just have to wait and see how the rest of the book comes along.

crap ending, didnt like it at all. too boring to have a sequel.

i was really enjoying this book until i came upon the cheating and abuse. how can he claim to love Bree when he sleeps around with someone to make her jealous, and smack her in anger.
hopefully it gets better - i sense a reappearance of Alessandro's brother, more action to come.

did he just smack the heroine?!

did the hero just cheat on the heroine? are they even together?

alright start, wishing for something more exciting, come on!

not your usual harlequin book. this, i feel, discusses a more realistic issue.

this is such a heartbreaking story. i know this book will have a happy ending but from the point where im reading right now, it doesnt seem to look like the situation is going to get better...

i didnt like Marcus at first, but you cant help but understand why hes behaving like this.

im really enjoying this book. i was taken in from the first page.

good story but too short.

the pace constantly changed throught the book. there were times when the plot skiped a few months or a whole year.

new charecters were introduced, felt they just came out of the blue to add more to the plot.

i still dont understand why the hero would keep Imo from knowing how he really feels about her. what a coward.

so far so good. didn’t like how the hero treated women at the start of this book. i sympathize with him now knowing about he’s past.

the heros obsession with the heroines fathers lol he wans a baby with her so hes heir can have her fathers genes! lol ...or is it.

ive read 30% of this book so far, and i still dont know what to think of it. theres some parts i like, others i dont. hmm...

not enough groveling from the hero in the end but still a good read.
