It will get worse. But then it will get better. Then it will get worse again. Then better. This is life. And I will not lie by saying that everyday will be sunshine, but there will be sunshine again. And that is a very different thing to say. That is truth. I promise you, you will feel warm again.

Guh. Two gifted, good men trying to separate from their fathers’ disappointments and find their own paths. Such amazing character building that we have two fathers who are objectively incredible men, but we see the full spectrum of character in both of them falling horribly short as fathers. Both sons having to deal with the trauma of not being what their father expects of them, just by being who they are 😭
