I'm in love. "Don't be a silly goose, Miss Letty."

I used to say that if a book didn't make you hurt, then it wasn't worth reading. But I am hurting SO BAD with this book and want to hide under the covers and pretend it isn't happening. I honestly don't think an HEA is possible. There are way too many emotional factors. I think I hate this book.

Can we please stop pretending that unmarried girls know how to write helpful books to other women regarding relationships?

There are so many ways this book can go, and at this point I'd believe any of them. I need to finish it so I can figure out why the hell this book was written.

This is a train wreck I can't look away from.

Enjoying the story but the narrator is driving me crazy. The MC is Scottish, but he often sounds like a mix of Indian/Russian.

ok, definitely picked up. i am really enjoying the friendship turning into love between them.

I am wondering why I gave this 3 stars for my first read? When I think back on this book, I always remember liking it a lot. Am also loving this re-read ,🤷🏼‍♀️

Page 190 is only 1/3 of the book. Took about a hundred pages for me to really get into this book but there's definitely a lot happening now. I'm really enjoying it! Although, I kind of feel like I'm never going to be able to finish it!

So much has happened at I'm only at 9%. I feel like in other books I would be at 30% already. But this book is 500+ pages so I'm curious where the story will go. (I have not read the back cover blurb).

Loving this book. This is my first by the author and I've never read anything because of all the stupid animals in the book covers.

There is an awful lot of tongue clicking by characters. Also, so far "my bowls turned to water" has been said 3 times and it's not sexy.

I *think* maybe Rhysand knows he's the mate to Freye at this point...

Oh, so it's just a Beauty and the Beast Fantasy novel.

When the magic releases the masks from their faces, are they all gonna have drastic tan lines?

Sooo she killed their friend and her choices are to either die or live in his house as a pampered guest for the rest of her life? Away from her selfish family. Not sure where the punishment is here.

Such a fun read. I loved Ash's personality. I though the Monster of Mayfair a bit much, but loved everything else about this book.
