It saddens me to say that I was enjoying the first half of this book until the 50% mark. The last 20% has felt like walking through sludge. It’s been tedious, the miscommunication, the denial & lack of action towards Kolis. Everyone scared of Poppy, yet she was more lethal in the war of two queens than in this book. At times it’s been repetitive. Plot being dragged out & I’m not looking forward to the ending.

Reading The Fall of Ruin and Wrath beforehand was completely worth it!!!

I loved The Deal, I read the entire Off-Campus Series. Why is this one so difficult to get through. I’m almost done. Finally reading Garret and Hannah’s short story. But like with all the previous ones it’s so frustrating. This story is ruining my favorite couple. The only enjoyable part so far have been the cameos.

I forgot how much I love this book. Rereading since I just received my copy of the collector’s edition. Loving the artwork and every detail on this edition especially the edges! 💕

So far enjoying this one more than Love on the Brain

I didn’t think we would get to this point of the events halfway through this book. I’m terrified of the next 50%!! I always knew there were so many skeletons in the past of this group of friends but it’s all just mind blowing and more horrifying that I could’ve ever imagined!

I won’t be able to finished the rest of the series before Releasing 10 but I’ll definitely continue reading after I’m don’t with Releasing 10

I can’t believe I started this book last night and I’m already so close to 30% in. It’s so fast paced and I’m enjoying every moment of it. There already so many complications and secrets I can’t wait to see what happens nexts and how it will all unravel.

Received the e-arc copy of this book. So far, it’s had some really cute and funny moments. The story is fast paced and I’m enjoying so far. This is the second book in the series. I did not read the first, so far it doesn’t feel that I’m missing information on past events to know and be invested in what’s currently happening

I’m glad I didn’t reread the series before this one. There’s so many references to past events that I’m going to read Fourth Wing as soon as I’m done with Onyx Storm!

This book is so good! I’m loving every single character, every interaction and the slow burn is so good. I would already be done if I had more spare time to read. But before 2025 even began my life has been hectic and I’m surprised I’ve been able to finish any books at all!

I feel I would be enjoying this book so much more if the FMC weren’t so annoying!

The FMC is bad ass, every single man including the MMC are idiots. I feel like this book has potential so I’m pushing through but the MMC is taking to long to get over his hatred for her kind to realize she is exactly what’s needed to save the kingdom. Kind of a reflection of life right now in our modern day politics. Hopefully they get over their idiocy soon because I can’t take much more and I will DNF.

Just when I’m considering taking a break or DNF the author introduces a post kitten the find and adopt and it gets all cute let’s keep on going then

I hate the miscommunication trope so much!

Ugh this book was so good until we got to the whole miscommunication issue and the FMC acting horribly to a wonderful MMC.

I really enjoyed the first book but I. Starting to realized that many of these series are almost a repeat of the couple of the first book. Their background might be different as well as the story. But the relationship dynamics, the insecurities, the unwillingness to commit, it’s all the same…disappointed.
