This book started off strong and then, well, it started to get a little weird. I stuck with it though! (Truthfully, it was because I loved the cover!). But then, there was more weirdness that made me sort of uncomfortable and then made me not want to go back to the book when I had time to read. It may become a DNF. I’m putting it aside for now and may not go back to it.

I’m about 3/4 and so far I’m annoyed, because it feels like a bait and switch kind of book. The title doesn’t give a true representation of what the book is really about—or at least to this point. I love Alice Hoffman’s writing though so I still have hope.

I didn’t like it and so I decided not to finish it.
