i keep thinking i’ve finally made some significant progress on this book and then i look and it’s like nothing i’m tired

i did it i finished a book everybody clap

you might be wondering “is she really starting another book without finishing any of those others?” and the answer would be yes. don’t worry about it

maybe i should just stick with YA books idgaf this is the most fun i’ve had since scholomance

is it “good?” no. am i having an excellent time? yes.

i’m gonna be honest i might dnf.i just simply don’t believe it’s necessary for a woman to be raped in the first 20 pages of a fantasy novel. maybe that’s my bottom line. i’m tired.

moka did not enjoy this book and she was right 🫡

why is this book so terrible 😭 this man keeps inserting his own useless opinions and interpretations of science and feminism and he just fucking quoted the star wars prequels. why was he chosen to write this book i can’t

The Building - i started updating these separately by story but i realized i was mistaken because they were all written and organized together on purpose. it’s not a normal narrative arc but it’s not a collection of short stories either. also funny that i realized this about a greater purpose during this particular story before i even got to the end 😂

The Nna Mmoy Language - she’s so good i’m sorry i doubted you ms le guin 😭😭😭

Wake Island - hated it. it was too dark and was unnecessary imo for the point of the story might have been. or even if the point was to be that dark as part of the novel as a whole i found it to be too much.

Great Joy - am i more cynical than i was when i started this book or are these stories becoming more cynical as it goes 👀 some of this hits a little too hard

Woeful Tales of Mahigul - i liked this one a lot. it was a few even shorter stories within the main short story lol. i found this one interesting because the people’s behavior seemed so similar to humans, maybe more than any of the previous stories. but maybe that’s because it’s just easier to see the negativity/power seeking right now. i think the last one was my favorite (The War Across the Alon)

i guess i’m in my het romance era now because this was so good and i want more immediately idk what’s happening to me but it was just so good
