Bored of this non-fiction book. I thought it would be interesting - cultural, historical biography - but it is translated from Italian and suffers greatly from the era in which it was written. The female biographer is definitely blinkered by her 1950s perspective, Not gonna finish this.

Not overly enjoying this English translation of an Italian original, written in the 40s.

Finished the first tale. The ending was protracted and disappointing

Two chapters left. Interesting read.

Finished Dune. Love the story like I did the first time I read it in my teens; but now I notice the gender stereotyping and the implicit superiority assigned to men in the story. Plus, the tech is so not techie!

First story read. Good fun.

50% of the way through, I'm loving this book. The stories are thought provoking and I am enjoying the author's notes on each. Great read so far.

I enjoyed this gently told story. Despite being somewhat predictable in direction - it was immediately obvious as to what Ben's revelation would be - the narrative flowed peacefully along and the conclusion was beautifully saisfying. A good read for late nights or lazy summer days.
