Reading along with the Rosary in a Year podcast, today was Day 16.

You see more and more signs that say “Season’s Greetings.” Well, what does that mean? Are we celebrating winter? I mean, that’s the season, is it not? This is the winter season. When you say, “Season’s greetings,” what do you say — “Happy winter to you”? Who wants to say “Happy winter”? Winter’s never happy. It’s freezing! It’s the world saying, “So much for you. Season’s greetings!”

I have no interest in these three characters, and I hope this isn't going where I think it is. The first two characters were much more interesting.

Gee whiz, this is tedious. I really couldn't care less about what's going on, although there isn't much going on at all! This is a DNF at page 303. I don't have the patience for another 500+ pages of this. I've never had a problem with her work before!

This one's very wordy and not nearly as enthralling as some of the other books in the series.
