I love all the characters in this book :( every time she interacts with one of the brothers, I'm like "this couple would be awesome" and then I'm reminded she only chooses one and I'm hit with crushing disappointment that makes me wanna DNF.

Penelope can write, but her choices are still the worst.

This book is grueling. Like I can get over the inconsistency because I like the guys and the girl but the knowledge that it's not a reverse harem and is instead one girl fucking 5 brothers, and then picking 1 makes me groan. Like I don't caaaaaaaaare. And she picks the worst brother just like in credence. Give me a break. Penelope Douglas plus get some taste in men. Please

The book is terrible. Characters aren't terrible, but how long they've known each other vs. how they act with each other is inconsistent already. I'm beyond confused. Can already tell who she ends up with, and it's predictable and boring.

I wanna DNI but can't, so I'm locked into the torture.

Doesn't help that pages 68 & 69 were just forgotten. It's not ripped out, but it's simply not printed. Oh well, I guess.

This book is fantastic, although the writing is occasionally confusing.

Pretty sure the main dude is a little insane though but.. I mean..

I have high hopes about this, just based on the writing style. A little break from the romance novels disappointing me.

I paused mid sex scene because it was super unsexy. Feels like I'm watching evidence be shared in court because me and the rest of the jury convict this sex offender to prison.

But anyways them fucking is okay because the old man didn't start it, no, the super mature (but too embarrassed to say cunt) 19 year old pursued him.

Boo, rather read about the shitty bf.

The chemistry isn't there. It actually reads more like father x daughter but in a breaking news: sex offender found way and not in a dark romance way....

How are you going to say a 19 year old is grounded to her room and literally 2 seconds later start trying to fuck her....

Okay, boyfriend is starting to be sort of ass... so I'm feeling less weird about the cheating... the 80s references are getting old, still.

Book is on THIN ICE, for now though.

Kind of strange because obviously she's going to fucked the dad at some point, and usually I'm down with cheating in fiction when it's a 2nd chance book, or if the partner is trash... but so far the boyfriend seems like a typical 19 year old.

Also, the girls' obsession with the eighties (music, movies) feels one dimensional and weird when she's getting with the dad who was probably born in 1980. Just weird.

Why is dating your kids' teacher taboo? Is this a me problem? I don't understand, and this book is frustrating me.
