I really enjoy an unlikeable character but it's been difficult seeing how this character actually persuades the people around her. I'm at the trial part of the book and hope it is more entertaining then the first half of this book

Finally getting around to this. I have a feeling it'll indulge my horrible inner monologue, can't wait

So far I enjoy the characters, but it feels like a slightly "cold" telling of the story. I'm hoping it becomes more passionate with time.

I do still read non romance. Really loving the period of this book, but it is a slower read. Gorgeous so far
