DNF’ing because this writing is so cringey it’s actually making me mad

This better fill the Ted Lasso-sized hole in my heart or else

I literally have 1 hour left of this on audio and it will take me another month to listen to that 1 hour

After trying this series over and over and over, knowing I loved the world and the story from the movies but not being able to finish a page without getting lost, I've found the version I needed! The Andy Serkis audio book is a must!

Don’t get me wrong, I am enjoying the book so far but I have never seen so many grammatical errors (mainly missing prepositions which is my actual pet peeve) in a finished book. And a second printing too! Like seriously who line edited this and how are they still employed

I am determined to finish this today even if it means that small customers will be listening to a murder on audio, like I need to be done this!

It's official - this is going in the DNF pile

I am already so obsessed with this audiobook - Dolly should just narrate books for the rest of her life

I am now officially halfway into this and I still have no idea what the f is going on, do I keep reading???? IDK

Holly Black and I have not gotten along well in the past so let’s see if her first foray into adult manages to sway me
