50 pages in and im not experiencing that 4.3 star goodreads rating yet luvs

this is bad but whenever i see 'john green' my mind still kinda goes 'thats so the fault in our stars looking for alaska cringe' but the premise sounds good so im giving it a go

Dnf @ 27%

These characters annoy the living hell out of me this girl want absolutely NOTHINGGGG to do with a man but folds within 2 chapters girl get a spine

sometimes i wish you could add a book on goodreads blind because i just saw the average 3.4 star rating and its already influencing my opinion dammit

Okay plot twist

I read about 10% and really was not interested. Way too many characters and nothing interesting happening. I decided to give myself until 20% before I could dnf. This story happens over a few events this friend group gathers at, and i’m now starting the second event at 19% so i’ll read 1 chapter and if i still hate it it can fuck off

82 percent in but THANK GOD we’re driving to planned parenthood

So the synopsis talks about somebody dying at da club but this only happens almost halfway through so kind of feels like a major spoiler???? Anything mentioned in a synopsis needs to happen AT THE BEGINNING

Locking in my bet that Brian is behind this disappearance

Never have i ever read a book in which the cover is SUCH a different vibe from the story. They really threw a curveball here

I fear I was correct… christina lauren writing sci fi now????
Also I am not that interested in this story at all but also curious if it’s gonna get even weirder so i will continue

locking in my guess that emery is a crazy scientist who is gonna bring her dead husband back to life with crazy science

Locking in my plot prediction that s**** is gonna end up 😵😵😵💀💀💀

My expectations are high

For the last 205 or so I have not been interested at all but I feel too far into it to DNF

this main character is so spineless its starting to piss me awffff
