I’m having such a hard time connecting with this family. The constant ambushing of the mom trying to get the daughter to change her life is annnnnnoying me. The sister is clearly in less than happy marriage. I’m annoyed and just want this over.

I am having a hard time trying to connect with Efrain… it’s making my skin crawl. I’m also questioning how this book will end I have a hunch it’ll leave me feeling like a piece of my heart is open and won’t be mended.
