Title chosen for Afternoon Library Book Club just joined.

This is a really weird book. As no UK library had it I assumed it was American but full of English terms . Then I saw it was set in Nottingham. But still Hibbert uses US terms like blowout and cupcake. Not sure why but it makes for an oddly jarring reading experience.
