Audiobook

Audiobook- just another “read” through on all my quick drives lately. Easier to listen to a book I know when I only have time to hear one chapter at a time. It’s a comfort book for me. 😂

This is a difficult book to read. Not because of the content but because of the writing. I started to read it because of the dark content warnings.
You can absolutely tell it’s self published though. It almost seems as if the author used the “thesaurus” option every single sentence. Sentences are short and choppy. It’s just awkward writing. But it’s only 110 pages or so total, so I’ll go on.

Really considering a DNF on this one.

This book is SO bad. It’s like a middle schooler writing with a few 10 second smut scenes. It’s a quick read though so I’ll finish it up.

Loan ran out. Back on waiting list to finish. 🫠

I read the Jase and Bethany series first and then moved into this one with Seth and Laura. I’m moving this to my DNF shelf because it’s just not a good read. It feels like the same chapters over and over again. Maybe I’ll come back to it because this is only my second W. Winters series, but I don’t know. I don’t have high hopes for it.
