The philosophy and science in the book overlaps a bit with Pluribus on Apple. Universal consciousness and how our brains are receivers are a couple of fun ideas in both.

My favorite book of this year.

Some books change with age- this is one.

I liked this book, but I was also mad at it. I kept wanting to shake Miles, Chip, and Alaska for some of their choices. Maybe I’m just too old for this book now. I wanted to shout, “You kids stop being so reckless!” and “You can’t be that dumb and write so eloquently in your religions class”.

A book so good I’ve read it twice in a year.

Pretty good book. No spoilers, but some of the story was a bit on the nose and cliched. Did I enjoy it? Yes.

A real page turner- Tea’s story is engaging and the other books will here soon!

Great book filled with strong female and male characters.

I like lengthy books, but this one is too long. Everything important happens quickly in the last few pages, and very little happens in the first third. I don’t think I care enough about the characters to read the last book in the series.

Wonderful book. I’ve read it twice and still found it awesome.

Much of this book is sad, and it brings attention to the anxieties of many young people today. Bulimia, anorexia, cutting, drugs, and suicide are discussed in a thoughtful and empathetic tone. It’s a very moving novel.

I like the book until the ending. The desire to create a twist ending took away from a pretty good story.

Great story- it reminds me of a more mature version of The Ranger’s Apprentice Series.
