The things I get myself into for closure on a part of the one pony I still care for...

Did Celly really need to conjure a force field to protect the CMC's from falling snow? That wouldn't be a problem if they were dressed properly.

Does Luna know the CMC's are planning something in her honor? If yes, how? And does the book ever address and answer this question? (It had better!)

I see Tempest didn't check to ensure the queen was still sleeping before snatching the pearl. I figured Tempest would fail but I hoped she wouldn't be so reckless
But that's one recurring nightmare with MLP today--it tends to build up your hopes for what comes next, only to crush them.

Storm King has a castle? Hilarious. I've seen the movie and read the prequel comics; all he has are airships.

lol Tempest should have thought of that before running as far from home as possible just because two losers ditched her.

So Tempest is in a tavern; a door opens, letting in a gust of wind; it blows off her cloak, exposing her horn. When everyone sees it, she high-tails it out and runs as far away from the town as possible. Apparently Tempest is so embarrassed about her severed horn that the instant people see it, she runs away.

Did Tempest ever see a doctor or speak to her parents about her severed horn? And if she did either, how am I supposed to know that if it was never brought up before the moment she packed up and ran away? This is why I don't like "official" supplementary MLP books: when they don't answer questions that were never raised, they just raise even more questions we shouldn't have to ask.

So them lowering the sun and moon is just them doing Starswirl's dirty work. And alicorns can return magic. Then what was the point of Starswirl having them raise the sun and moon?! And while I'm at it, why do the analysts on YouTube endorse this... bunk?

Wait, the six unicorns still control the sun and moon? Then why and how did the two sisters become princesses in the first place?!

Starswirl invented time-travel, and your age changes as you use the magic. How does THAT work?

Only a couple entries in, and already they're at the part where Starswirl introduced the Everfree Forest? They must be past the part where they met Discord already; after all, he is the reason the Forest exists.

Don't forget, I'm waiting to get the reading guide in oder to have clearer conceptions of characters and settings.
