This book isn’t what I expected. It’s more travelogue, which isn’t a genre I enjoy. The author raises some interesting topics but quickly pivots to travelogue details so it’s really not something I’d recommend if someone is looking for actual info on “Polar War”.

I’m really struggling through this one. The characters are very one dimensional archetypes. The actual horror is slow burn which means the characters should be carrying this one. Also it’s evidently pandemic but sounds more like post pandemic..

I’m not sure why this book is so popular and highly rated..but maybe I’m just being a Grinch. Not for me, but kudos to the author on writing this.

Not what I expected..difficult to put down but also something just isn’t clicking.

This book is just not for me but it’s helping me sleep at night so I’ll finish it. Basically just all the generic ways you can die, nothing exotic here.

But shocked to see a doctor say B12 shots are useless..

A tad overly brief but this might be an easily accessible intro into the subject for those just dipping their toe into the subject and wanting something extremely high level. Would still suggest Fire in the Sky given I felt it was more thorough.

So far nothing new, and I think this will take awhile to get through since I’ve been falling asleep reading it. Hoping later chapters will hav something that isn’t common knowledge.

Not feeling this one as much as I’d like. I haven’t read a Meyer in a few years so not sure if it’s the book..?

Random library read. This is generic and gives terrible advice (feeling like life is pointless? Obv you’re not doing enough for others!). Too broad, too many pages saying nothing.

I was excited for this one but the recipes are a bit involved and calls for blenders and food processors (I live in apartment). Very pretty book and photos of food are clearly professional.

Not his best work but enjoying nonetheless.
