I’ve read and listened to the originals countless times. Excited for this full cast audio addition!

The narrator’s British accent is terrible. There are so many British narrators who are amazing. Why pick someone who isn’t? Ugh!!

Interesting. In our current climate I figured I should brush up on a few things. So far it’s a mix of common sense and good advice. The first part, and it’s a large part, is dedicated to food. Which makes sense. So I guess I have a new shopping list for the week…

Listening to the audiobook. The mispronunciation of common words is maddening.
Double entendres? It isn’t even the entendres she got wrong! Dooble?
And renaissance? Renee-seance.
And the male narrator? Doesn’t change his voice AT ALL throughout, not even when he’s doing the female dialogue.

The first 1/3 was a bit sluggish but it really got going from there and now I’m savoring this last little bit, knowing it’s Louisa’s swan song.

Hard to believe but this just keeps getting worse.

This stream of consciousness narrative is literally driving me mental. It's like Ali got her friends together, did tons of coke and recorded all the ridiculous that spewed out of their mouths for the next six hours, decided it was genius and created Maya around those ramblings.

I’m over the whole cutsie Maya thing. She goes from acting like a tween to acting like she’s forty. No wonder Conor has whiplash.

These two are perfection. I love the humor and the chemistry.
