loving this book!

it was going great, loving its fast pace, but suddenly it seems to be full of lots of waffling that seems to have nothing to do with the main story.

I'm done, it just isn't keeping me interested.

I read the first story in this book a while ago, and found it quite easy to read and enjoyable enough to get through to the end, but the second story, Whistleblower, quickly seemed to turn into a love story more than the mystery that is was supposedly about, and I quickly lost interest, and decided I just can't read on anymore.

Oh my goodness this book is so good, I just love all the outback Australia stuff, and although I am nearly finished, I still can't guess what happened. I don't want it to end so I am reading the rest slowly.

Nearly half way through, and its a bit tedious with too too much storm damage related description. Not as riveting as the first book, but hopefully it will pick up the pace soon, as Camino Island was so so good with less waffling.
Well I am a bit further along now, and it actually started getting much more interesting at a faster rate, so heres hoping it will keep up the pace now.

page 238 and it has suddenly become agonisingly sloooooow! too many words, too much reminiscing and theorising - get on with it!

Page 328, and finding it hard to keep going, as its a bit slow and repetitive. I do hope it picks up the pace soon. I hope there is something really interesting in the rest of the book, other than a bunch of people just getting to know each others feelings and problems.

Not sure if I like this book or not. I did at first, then there was an element in it that I don't like and I am wondering how much it actually has to do with the real essence of the story.

I dont always read every day so i take a while to get through a book. This book is a page turner, and I am just as good as her first one, The Surgeon.
