Welp….i was right lol. I think anyway? Not too sure if that was a vampire or just a victim of one???? But I would assume so? Regardless this book is better than I expected so far. I find it strange how much I care about the life of Patricia and her friends. Usually slice of life scenes in books bore me, but I am loving these women all the same. I hope Patricia figures out what is going on.

Something tells me Patricia is going to encounter a vampire taking out the trash….

Justice for Shaney because wtf. Idk if I will keep reading. I might but honestly Lewis has a problem with strong women and needs to get over it. All the women in this story are amazing.

the flow is horrible. I have to reread the same passages over and over again to figure out why the author would choose to go from telling a story in the past, only to tell a story in the present and then go back to the past? Please pick one, I am tired. I hate when you are in the middle of telling a story from the past only to describe how a car looks in the present!?! No one cares bro, tell the story.

So far the only issue I have with this book is why it takes detective Ralph so long to remember where he heard clues.

So far this is entertaining. I have read some of this authors more recent books and I feel like she has grown so much as an author that reading her older books shows she only improves as time goes on.

This book is taking me forever to complete. Some stories are great, but others have writing that I can’t seem to flow with 😩 but I’ve made it this far so I might as well finish
