Com a falta de um psicólogo na minha vida, recorro a livros de filosofia para me tentar perceber, o que sinto, a minha relação com os outros e um estado geral da sociedade.

I think that this is my first philosophy book. There is a lot of key words research and struggle to understand what he is refereeing to. Nonetheless, it contains a very interesting topic and I will definitely reread it!

How a family ruled one of the biggest countries in the world for 300 years.

This book is such a spiral. My brain is spinning and I’m just enjoying the ride.

Amazing book. Scary how identifiable it is with our reality (note: it was written in the 50s but feels almost like it could have been written in our days).

Book 2 - done.

After the future has been seen let’s visit and live through it.

Book 1 - Concluded.

This book will just give me more reasons to keep on sleeping as much possible. I love it !

So far it has been a brilliant book that starts by giving the reader a good walk through the history of money.

This book shows applications of what we might think as sci-fi into real life. This is not a novel idea, we’ve seen many things that were thought as only idealistic becoming concrete ideas with real applications and creations. Our mind is so capable and powerful, what future prospects can be still applied and learned?

Até agora tem sido um livre com uma visão bastante simplista e redutora da realidade. A personagem principal é o único que conhece a sociedade em que vive, acabando por ter um complexo de superioridade. Está a ser interessante no sentido em que se consegue aprofundar um pouco mais sobre o que é um mundo capitalista e quais os ideais do socialismo.

I’ve started this book very sceptical and so far hasn’t been able to convence me otherwise of my first ideas. Some things that bugged me;
- The author likes to compare two subjects on economical terms with a far too grate difference period.
- He is downsizing the climate change effects and difference of this century to last one.
- And, I find thinking myself if he is not confusing correlation with causation.
