Fantastic so far. So enlightening and freeing.

I think it’s cute and am really into it as I read it to my son. My son is being such a nay-sayer though and goes back and forth if he likes it. He’s 8 and I’m trying to find THAT book- you know, the one that makes him fall in love with reading and think it’s a magical world. I told him we’re going to finish this one regardless, but I don’t think this is going to be the one.

We are almost done. I can’t wait to watch the movies with my kids and see what my oldest thinks when he compares the book vs the movie. I can tell he really absorbs the story and he goes around talking about Ms. Trunchbull lol

This is better than I expected! I saw they made a new movie and my kids and I wanted to watch it but I didn’t want them to eat fb it before we read the book. My 8 year old son wasn’t enthusiastic about it at first but now he’s asking for more chapters. A book lover’s dream. 💜
