is it just me or has the writing taken an absolute nose dive in this one? ngl my patience is wearing THIN i'm having to put it down every few pages bcos it's pissing me off so much. you can just use regular pronouns, you don't have to say "the male" or "the female" because you're worried about using "he" or "she" too often, it's sounds so weird. and if i hear "my mate" one more time i will throw the book out a window
