In a reading slump means it’s time to re-read The Love Hypothesis for the 7th? 9th? time.

Carrie was my favorite part of Malibu Rising and this book just hammers that home.

I swear, if the missing pancake recipe is in the old binder or just Bisquick I will riot. The real chef would have checked that binder out ASAP

I am so irrationally annoyed at the lack of basic research that goes into these books. A world class French trained chef would know that baking SODA needs an acid to activate and would use baking POWDER in his pancakes. I’m a layperson and I know that!

I have come to the conclusion that most of the plot of this book is just the first 2.5 Twilight novels, minus most of the vampires. And you know what, I'm not even mad.

Jem is the ABSOLUTE WORST- but I suspect she is also right about things. 🫠
