DNFed at 80% because it was so underwhelming. I also hate the miscommunication or lack of communication trope. After me yelling USE YOUR WORDS for the third time, I just couldn't do it anymore. The characters individually had so much potential. I loved the idea of a neurotic and anxious FMC and the sweetest MMC but it just didn't develop the way I needed it to.

This was just too hardcore for me. DNF at 28%. I struggle to enjoy books when the smut hits before I even have time to contemplate the personality of a character. As always though, Jade Wests smut writing is 🤌🏻

There's like no development at all. It's basically insta love with zero reason and feels like reading an outline.

Put this down because there was minimal character development and everything was super fast paced and not developed. It was like reading an outline for a story instead of an actual story.

It's just confusing and annoying. I don't actually know anything about Egyptian mythology so I have no frame of reference to understand this stuff.

The structure of the writing is annoying the crap out of me and I honestly just don't think I can fully enjoy this at the moment but I'm super intrigued by the characters so I'm going to pick this back up when Im in the mood.
