Am I reading the same book everyone else did? This is…something… Joe gives me serious ick and Mars is so naive I want to shake her and say “this is not normal behavior for a man”. I’ll keep going but so far this feels very amateur.

Cora is such an arrogant little brat it’s almost unbearable to deal with her as an MC.

Joey is a very unlikable narrator and character.

So far just about every main character is driving me completely bonkers. Pete is a naive idiot. Maddie is a reserved brat. Miles is a pompous creep. This book may become a DNF for me.

Ready for cozy Fall reading 🍁🍃🍂☕️
