Good grief, what the hell am I reading? I read a different book by this author which was good….
This though is all over the place. The writing is super basic and lacks depth…. There’s a lot in here for shock value and no substance…. I’m just not getting it?

The FMC is superwoman! I was a PA in a previous life working long hours. Cleo is a stalker, manipulator beyond belief all under the guise of work… Deacon is such a sap!

#DNF. Lord this is dull and I’ve only made it to 9%!

The MFC inner monologing is driving me nuts….

3% in and it’s a big no for me…. Not sure the author has spent time with 20 year olds. They all sound like they’re in a business meeting! #DNF

Oh lord… this woman will put the feminist movement back years…. By 39% she’s a simpering wreck, propping up his pillows, zero sightseeing in ROME! Cos apparently she can always come back even though she has no money! Hope she finds her back bone soon!

DNF. This could have been a brilliant fast paced book but I’m at 32% and 7 hours of reading left! There are pages and pages of Gracie’s inner monologue. God it’s hard going…. It’s unnecessary. Shame too….

This is a dnf for me i'm afraid. Ive reached half way and that's with skipping ahead. Not enough to capture me. Shame tho

Just finished Simple Men. Some reviews I readxsaid the POV became confused...not at all! There was an odd moment involving a squirrel and a bird that I didn't enjoy but apart from that its a lovely story. Evenly paced and I loved how Chip found his inner romantic and wooed Foster. All in all, very lovly.

hmmm first book by this author. Also first GFY story... Not sure that's a thing I'll enjoy... Here goes

Just starting this...after reading Tal Bauer and Josh Lanyon, I'm hooked on mystery...

Er, not for me I'm afraid. Unoriginal... I skipped most of it.

23% in. I'm skimming quite a bit of this. The narrative is very childish and it's hard to imagine it's 2 grown men and not teenagers. Will persevere tho...
