You know when you meet someone, and there’s that crystal-clear moment where you think, I need more of this in my life, or, conversely, I need to get the hell away from this person as far as I can?

Hit the part about the Virginia Tech school shooting and this book was already hitting close to home, it’s so hard to hear that this is a role in our millennial lives and it hasn’t gotten any better.

When the book pulls you into one of your own core memories, “Grace had made a power hour…every time the clip changed, she and Samira took a shot of vodka-Gatorade mix.” Pulling me back to freshman year of college and the first time I got realllll sick from alcohol. Never again to lemon-lime Gatorade.

How mere moments could have such life-changing consequences.

I’ve been waiting my whole life to feel like this”

How I will be describing my facial expressions from this point forward, “That’s just what my face does when I leave it unattended.”

This book just giving me all the stupid feels. “Maybe home isn’t a place. Maybe it’s a person.”

I really love this but he could stop saying “feckin’” I get it he’s got an accent.

“You must milk the sheep or you cannot leave Italy.” If this is true this changes my thoughts on wanting to one day travel to Italy.
