I'm one chapter in and I'm already 100% done with this fucking book. the author should eat a bag of dicks. I don't know what that sentence means, but I don't give a fuck. A bag of dicks sounds awful, so I'm going with it.

It's really slow going. It's a tough one to sit through. And some characters are really unfair to the protagonist. Not sure if I have the strength to pick up part 2. Depends a bit on the ending.

The story is quite meandering.

The story stops dead in its track as soon as the protagonist and the AI-human enter the Mark Twain flyer. Some backstory is filled in, but nothing is really happening, and what the purpose of the flyer is, isn't explained. Why are they stepping so much between earths? What is the end-goal here?

Marcel is 50% done with Unfettered (Unfettered #1)

With some of the stories I have no idea how to take them. For instance the one about the baseball playing kid, where the ending is just everyone on his team ripping him to shreds as his dad walks away. Also, a lot of the stories are just not my cup of tea.

I guess, I'm not anthology material. :)
