Wow...can we say slow and boring?? It took me over an hour to get here because this book just didn’t hold my interest. The first chp is suppose to captivate the audience to continue reading. The inner monologue on a blundering idiot who thinks she’s funny....not so much. Lets get to the part where the vamp shows up, cause honestly, this female should never have a starring role.

Hmm, a little disappointed with Catalina’s character. She talks as tho she’s all that, but they come across their first fight in the swamp and she got hurt right away. Her magic drained with a few swing of the sword and then she became a damsel in distress. All the while still acting like she don’t need help. That don’t sound Deputy worthy compare to her brother-in-law who was prime candidate.

So far, boring. This one’s not really doing it for me, I had to set it aside a few times already. Hopefully it’s not a sex book, with no real story to it. Seems that way; I mean girl is so easy. Instinct is to slap or push away some guy, you don’t even know, who just kissed & felt you up. Not crazy about her wishy washy personality. Nothing about her really strikes out as lead character worth reading about.

Much better than the last two. Syn’s character has done a 180! She almost seems like a completely different character. Not sure, if I would call that character growth.

Who brings a knife to a gun fight? Seriously, she makes things so much more difficult because she insists on only knives. If she wasn’t the main character, her ass would’ve died many times over. I want to like Gin, but the way the author writes her...

I don’t know who’s more pathetic, the girl or the guy. The summary is misleading...”I’m where princes go to die”....really?? Girl talks like she’s a bad bitch, when she’s emo girl with PTSD. I’m also not feeling this whole sociopath thing. She keeps referring to ppl as human, so I would honestly prefer her to be a supernatural being....tho I don’t think this series is Paranormal. Is it?

Yeah, not liking this storyline so far. She made to sound like a badass, but is quite pathetic. She acts like a lunatic and a bitch towards these alpha males, but as soon as she meets a bitch that won’t take her shit, she folds over like a damsel in distress. All this fking whining, when she should be learning about what she is now. She should give her grandma a good lashing for having her turned.

Then wonder why ur coworkers are upset about the favoritism.

Ehh, so far this girl seems pathetic; lead around by her P*ssy. It’s no wonder men walk all over her. So she’s got manners, is that the only thing going for her?? I really dislike reading about women whose worked hard for their position, only to sleep with a man of power and get shit handed to them because said man favors them. The girl don’t seem to know what fk she’s doing.

Wth am I reading? The female lead sounds like your old nosy neighbor. She basically has no life, who then latches on and obsesses over the first person who puts her in her place.

I really want to like this book, but everything that comes out of this Nanny’s mouth makes her sound desperate. It’s like she doesn’t know how to hold a conversation with Mason, so she ends up asking him invasive questions that’s not related to her job. Like, “Am I Willows birthday gift?” Who the fk cares. Do your job and if you want his attn, wear skimpy clothes.

Hmm, kinda boring so far. The author is tooting the female lead’s horn a bit too much. The first 6 chps is about how they go back and forth on him wanting her for a nanny, and she rejecting the offer. Girl is too prideful, especially having no experience, no job, no money. She don’t want it, but her friend can’t have it either.

Wth, was Temp always this immature and ruled by her emotions and hormones? She can’t seem to concentrate on the goal. Her mind is fill with men either lusting after her or she lasting after them. She’s a nosy little girl, who stuck her neck too far and got stuck in a sticky situation. I hope she don’t end up a damsel in distress in need of saving, cause she’s starting to sound that way.

Can this be more predictable? Even tho they have mentioned “you can’t be by yourself until you come of age” a million times, she just had to keep being stubborn. Better to live with the ass you know, than the one whose got some conniving plan against you. At least she was safe with her Uncle. Gah, hope this story doesn’t go down hill from here.

Mel’s constant anger burst reminds me of a little chihuahua barking at the humans, in this case demons. As far as “Angel” status goes, I’m a little disappointed at how weak she is. Sounds like she came from an Elite force, but she could barely handle herself with the top teir “gladiators”.Don’t even get me started on how she’s horny for every Alpha male in sight. Should’ve made her into a succubus.

Oh, don’t even get me started on Asena! She’s portray to be smart, well trained, and have nothing but revenge on her mind. Well, come to find out she’s just a little girl looking for acceptance from her peers. Sticking her nose in eveyones business. Acting like she’s tough sh*t with a little knife, when she can barely fight or protect herself. I mean, Polaris would’ve made a better Heroine in this story.

Hmm, reading about some incompetent Vampires and a horny teenage girl who can’t figure out what she wants. Seriously, she is suppose to mean everything to them, but they’re constantly leaving her unguarded or protected. I mean, they can’t even escort her to the safety of her room. She’s also supposed to beware if Chaska, yet they keep her in the same room, instead of in their or a separate room.

It’s well written, but kind of on the boring side. I’m not crazy about the lead female’s personality.

Ok, so first off the story is changing dramatically...almost into a different genre. You could just end this series on the 2nd book. We’ll see how it goes.
