Omggomgomg this is crazy intriguing-

There was a gross section 🤢🤮 where a Lugie ended up in the MC’s mouth.
Despite this, the writing and story are captivating and the stakes are high yet well balanced. I’m happy to see an actual novel that doesn’t have an overpowered protagonist- I love seeing the obstacles even if it is all manipulated….

71% Through Both Novels. One is a tricky fantasy that’s journal like but kind of mixes with the other voice from the Nurse’s Persoective as they’re reading on to find a diagnosis/cure to her patient, who lies in a coma happens to have had insane reality rewriting adventures-
My only issues so far would be the Quote from Matthew in the Bible is kind of in there which was unexpected

Hoping to spend the day reading tomorrow. I need escapism.

Fate’s Last Melody, I’m learning is an acception for me with the Dragon 🐲 as it’s closer to a huge puppy. 🐶🐾.
Not to mention there was a spicy moment between 3 characters that left me blushing as well before drifting off to sleep. 😳🛌💤
This may be a fun comparison for Shedding Starlight by K.R. Blackwood; a novel I still keep thinking about even when it’s done

I need motivation to work on my Substack posts I have over 20 posts in my drafts but I’m feeling dead inside. 😭🙃

Writing Shedding Starlight Reviews and Posts. Trying to avoid spoilers while also keeping it just as captivating to hold interest. I’m also kinda comparing it to another book I’m reading “Fate’s Last Melody” by Vanessa Smith as I’ve found some potential similarities between them.
I’m also working on a couple of other separate reviews while devouring these books. Primarily ARCS sorta.

It’s ironic I was heavy into dragons ages ago (like maybe a few years when I was writing one of my novels) now I’m avoiding them like the plague. 🤪

So much has happened!!

I finally remembered a few books i had missing from my book challenge that i remember finishing in 2025. books i really enjoyed too! i think this is the first year i went above and beyond and didnt just stop a book before my goal or something. honestly lost track of them all throughout, so i had to really comb thtough some trackers. i hope my dad is proud.

Lyrically written.. i'm loving this

I have read a little over 40 books this year, but I'm unable to remember them all and its really biting me.

Happy Yule, Kwanzaa, Hannukah, and Christmas, and every holiday I may have missed in between!
