I would rather be so freaking confused about the character’s emotions and internal thoughts that I have to read a book a second time.. I would rather be confused than have every flicker of emotion or blip of thought thoroughly explained to me. But this book does both. I’m thoroughly annoyed and confused and disappointed.

Would have been better as a short story. There is so much repetition. So many paragraphs could be left out and it would still be the same story. I don’t know if I can read anymore.
